My Stutter and I: My name is Bevin and I'm 25 years old. I am a person who stutters, and note that I don't say I am a stutterer because I do not let my stutter define me. I have had a stutter since I was 5, so I have 20 years of my life with my stutter. Like everyone else, I have my good days where I feel confident and I'm able to speak without the anxiety or fear of stuttering. I also have my bad days where my stutter can really get to me and I struggle to speak, even to my family. This blog will focus on my good days, bad days and in between days as I navigate my early twentys, and remember my before twentys, with my stutter My relationship with my stutter has changed over the years and at this point in my life, I accept that I am not me without my stutter but my stutter needs me to survive. So come on! Have a good nosey round my little corner of the internet!
